Descendants of the Sun tayang di KBS2 sebenayk 16 episode dan akan mulai tayang dari tanggal 24 februari. Descendants of the Sun tayang setiap hari rabu dan kamis pada pukul 22:00 (KST).
Pasukan penjagan perdamaian dunia atau PBB mengirimkan pasukannya ke negara yang dilanda perang bekepanjangan, Kapten Yoo Shi Jin (Song Jong Ki) merupakan salah satunya yang betugas memimpin tim unit Special Warfare Command, Dia bertemu dengan Kang Mo Yun (Song Hye Kyo) merupakan seorang dokter relawan, saat mereka bekerja sama pada daerah yang dilanda penyakit, Sho Yoh dan Mo Yun sering terlibat pertengkaran.
